Claustrophobia and kinetosis stopped me from travelling from a very young age. Even as a child I had trouble travelling from one place to another. I loved almost every place I seen on the TV (Discovery Travel & Living) and always wished that I would someday travel the world visiting places.
Unfortunately that dream was lost as I struggled with my anxiety and other disorders. In addition to this a difficult life situation meant that I had to work long hours in order to put food on the table and take care of the bills. I’ve been a workaholic for 10 long years and the corporate life was taking its toll on me.
Corporates pay you well but they also take out the joy of living expect for certain companies where they nurture and encourage a healthy work life balance. Thankfully for me, having had 10+ years of experience and having landed a job in a company that cares about its employees and helps have a healthy living I decided to face my fears.
Travel, I never imaged I would. But today has come a day where I will put myself against all odds and face my fears so that I can enjoy the lovely world god has created for us humans to enjoy. As part of this journey I will begin travelling within India so that I can get accustomed to travel and when its time and I get the opportunities to travel abroad I will take it.
I think 30 is a good time to travel for a lone wolf like myself who has the world before him. I have miles to travel and people to meet, cultures to learn and be amazed by the opportunities that lie a head of me. I’m also excited about the multi cultural cuisines that various places would offer to a foodie like myself.
There are four important sections this blog will cover to help fellow travellers like myself.
- Restaurants and Food
I will not always making this travel alone, I will have some company from time to time. After all friends make the trip worth while. In an effort to get out of my shell and to also explore the world I start this travel blog and I hope more people will be inspired by what I write on this blog. From time to time I will also share some tips and tricks to having a great trip across the globe and country.
Are you travel blogger? If yes, I would love to hear from you in the comments why you began your journey as a traveller? and what impact it has had on your life.
